Broken Wings

I got inspired after watching Mockingjay pt. 1, and decided to do something that expressed how I felt about it. Wonderful movie, by the way. I nearly cried, which is saying something for me.

Both fire and feathers are new things for me, and I'm pretty pleased with how both turned out. I also continue to work on my hair and skin techniques, although Katniss's skin is easier than Kiarn's. It might have something to do with the fact that it's a color normal people actually have for a skin tone.

I just felt like throughout the entire movie, as in the book, Katniss is expected to be strong, to lead, to be the mockingjay. But instead, she's just a scared, lonely traumatized teenager whose wings have been broken before she could really take off.
